This three storey townhouse overlooks Buffalo Bayou near the urban edge of River Oaks. The Nathaniel Russell house in Charleston served as inspiration for its brick and limestone facade. Inside, large high-ceilinged rooms are reached by elevator or the grand elliptical stair with its art deco balustrade and antique industrial glass fenestration.
Many elements of this house were salvaged from the owners’ former 1930’s River Oaks house.
